Comparison of hematological markers between testicular torsion and epididymo-orchitis in acute scrotum cases

Objective: In this study, we aimed to investigate the benefit of hematological results in determining differential diagnosis between testicular torsion (TT) and epididymo-orchitis (EO) patients presenting with acute scrotum, determine its predictive value for TT. Material Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 98 who applied our institute’s urology clinics or emergency service complaints scrotum. Thirty-two underwent orchiectomy detorsion due TT 48 EO were included study. The control group consisted 80 healthy men.
